Flower delivery from Pilsen to Seč
Seč is about three kilometres west of Blovice. The first written record of the village dates from 1319. Seč kindergarten has two classes, and the village also has a municipal pub.
The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is recorded from 1384 and was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1691 by Count Jan Rudolf Morzin. On the road from Seč towards Chocenický Újezd, a chapel dedicated to St Barbara stands at the edge of the forest. Built over a spring, it dates from the early 18th century. On the village green stands the granite Freedom Monument, erected in 1920 to commemorate the establishment of the republic and the victims of both world wars. Since 2019, the municipal office has been based in a former parish building, probably dating back to the 14th century.
